The dating game skit
The dating game skit - protective factors against dating violence
A skit requires very few props and little preparation.Skits are used in schools, at camp, in work-related conferences and conventions, and many other venues.
Skits dealing with serious situations like drug abuse or addictions are handled in a sensitive yet effective way. There’s a bully on the playground, but one kid is having none of it.This makes Bully Butch even madder and he gets louder and more abusive. You are just a bully and only pick on someone smaller than you are.”Bully Butch calls Bobby, “Chicken! The other kids find this hilarious and start laughing. Finally he says, “You’ve made me so mad, I’m gonna hit you! Bobby lets go so suddenly that Bully Butch falls to the ground. You see I’m a very important man and my schedule is usually booked. But let me check my palm pilot …..(Dustin takes out his palm pilot and starts punching the dates) I can plan on having some time…YES, definitely.Although the bully wants to fight, Bobby has a trick planned to stop him. Bully Butch enters and is surrounded by some of the other kids.
Characters: Bobby, played by a relatively small kid Bully Butch, played by a larger kid Other kids (as many as you want)A group of kids run on-stage. He brags loudly about himself, pushes a kid, grabs someone’s lunchbox, and kicks a ball away.
“Doleen” enjoys collecting Yugio cards, playing linebacker for the Sirens and building her upper body strength.
The question tonight folks…will Doleen pick bachelor #1, (Cole as the Cub Scout will rise and bow before the audience), bachelor #2 (Dustin as the businessman adjusts his glasses, straightens his tie and throws his shoulders back trying to look dignified), or bachelor #3 (Daniel acts too cool, brushes his hair back and gives the “hang loose” sign). Now Doleen ask your questions to our eligible bachelors. My first question to all of you is if I were stranded on a desert island, how would you save me? Doleen, if you were stranded on a desert island I would charter a plane to come pick you up- that is if I’m not in a meeting.
” Laughs again, takes out his comb and starts combing his hair and/or rubbing his surfboard with a towel. Why just last week my boss wanted this same information. Let’s meet bachelor #3, Daniel ******, our surfing dude (As Doleen reaches his hand to shake at the last second Daniel wipes his hand across his head to fake her out-really playing the jerk). ) The skit ends as Doleen chases the cub scout around the chairs and finally the host and the boys blow the traditional kiss to the crowd as the "Dating Game" theme song plays in the background.
I formulated my life’s motto and installed it on my trusty palm-pilot. (Narrators takes the business card) I’ll give you a call first thing next week and let you know my life’s motto (again, folding his arms looking very proud of himself). Cole- standing up gives his Cub Scout pledge, strong and loud. And our lovely and gracious Doleen, played by Dillan ****** has picked Cole ******, our cub scout!! I’m Zachary *****, your host of the Dating Game!!!!
The Dating Game Host- “Welcome everyone to the Dating Game.
